Albert Blakey has been actively involved in mediations and arbitrations
for over 15 years - over 500 cases - with subject matters including
automobile accidents, construction and commercial claims, negligence and strict liability. Over 75% of these mediations resulted in a settlement
at the time of mediation or immediately thereafter. The typical format
is roundtable discussion, followed by separate meetings with each party.
These sessions are scheduled upon the request of all counsel involved.
Attorney Blakey's current fee is $300.00 per hour, with $700.00 to be paid up front for administrative time and the first two hours of mediation. Any additonal mediation time will be billed separately.
