During his eight years as Judge on the York County Court of Common
Pleas, Judge Blakey earned a reputation in the County and across
the Commonwealth as a distinguished jurist. Since his return to
private practice in 1980, Albert Blakey has been widely recognized
as a leading legal counsel and advocate. He devotes a significant
portion of his practice to commercial and business litigation and
estate and trust litigation. He leads the firm's litigation department
and has chaired various local Bar Association Committees regarding
the courts, the new courthouse, procedural rules and civil practice.
Mr. Blakey is also extensively involved in the areas of business
and corporate law and estate planning and settlement. He serves
on the Board of Directors of many York area businesses and service
organizations.
